Our evening focuses on what strong cyber security looks like for businesses, taking the first steps to minimise risk and where to seek help and support if a breach occurs. Between the 2020-2021 financial year, cyber-attacks increased from one report every 8 minutes to one report every 10 minutes from the previous financial year. The Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) noted that no Australian business, Government, family or individual was immune from cyber breaches.

- Exploration of systems and security programs for the first steps in defence from potential breaches caused by malicious attacks, Phishing and Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) Attacks
- Where to report cybercrime in Australia and other agencies available

- Programs and applications available to mitigate risk and what a breach can look like including cyber insurance
- How to document and when to communicate a breach to customers and stakeholders
